  • Responsible for utilising evidence-based practice to prescribe individualised clinical exercise programs specific to the AEP and client goals for several pathologies including Type 2 Diabetes, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis and more.
  • Responsible for delivering aerobic and resistance based clinical exercise programs in a private clinic gym setting, prioritising client safety and outcomes, and providing continuous guidance, support and education.
  • Responsible for conducting clinical strength assessments including proficient use of VALD ForceFrame, Dynamo and ForceDecks and the interpretation and communication of results. Examples of assessments include isometric shoulder internal/external rotation, hip abduction/adduction, hip flexion, knee extension, mid-thigh pull, unilateral row, dynamic squat and ankle RSI testing.
  • Responsible for the prescription and delivery of a weekly Type 2 Diabetes clinical exercise group class, consisting of a circuit-based session covering several aspects of fitness. These included forms of aerobic endurance, hip hinge patterns, squat patterns, upper body pushing, upper body pulling, trunk stability/rotation/anti-rotation and static/dynamic balance.
  • Responsible for accurately documenting treatment notes, maintaining client confidentiality and completing administrative roles including proficiency in scheduling and payment processing (including private health) using Cliniko and Halaxy.
  • Assisted with initial consultations and documentation of client medical history, pathology, interests and goals.
