- James’ background is engineering surveying with over 23 years’ experience within the private sector.
- He has a wide range of surveying experience and knowledge obtained through his involvement on a multitude of projects across the infrastructure sector in Australia and the UK.
- James has had extensive experience in: Project management, Aerodrome surveying, Terrestrial laser scanning, Topographical and engineering surveys, Control surveys, Hydrographic surveys, Monitoring surveys.
- Key Projects: Kingsford Smith Airport, Sydney: Topographical and engineering surveys customised for the specific requirements of Sydney Airport.
- Aerodrome Obstacle Surveys: Data capture for the production of Obstacle Charts (Type A, 2% Take-Off, Approach, Type B, Marked & Lit, Transitional Surface, Obstacle-Free Zone and Baulked Landing).
- Runway and taxiway terrestrial laser scanning.
- Laser scanning of terminal buildings to document architectural layouts and building services.
- Runway and taxiway line marking and lighting set-out.
- Survey control network maintenance - 1000 survey control stations.
- North-West Transit Way: Project manager for the pre-works survey for North-west transit way extension compiling and presenting data using 12d software to RTA standards.
- SewerFix: Project surveyor for Sydney Waters sewer pump station upgrades throughout Sydney, documenting site specific infrastructure compiling and presenting data using AutoCAD software.
