  • Working in a small residential construction business, I have been able to take on additional responsibilities to support my boss. These include all aspects of carpentry, framing, lock-up, external cladding, decking, porches, eaves, fix.
  • Over the past 2 and a half years I have built my skills to a level where I am able and confident enough to work independently, following instructions to complete all tasks
  • I am able to help with supervision of the first and second year apprentices on site.
  • In terms of my TAFE requirements I have completed most units of the required course work to obtain my certificate 3. I currently have to complete the unit on Staircases. All work has been undertaken via on site training.
  • Additional duties include; directing and organising deliveries of materials on site. Materials purchases from bunnings etc as required. Able to work collaboratively and take instructions from Builders onsite. Collecting work utes and trailers as required each morning.
  • Skilled at working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
