First Grade Assistant Coach

  • Planned and designed session topics for short and long term, while also leading the sessions.
  • Analysed videos of games and practice sessions to identify areas for improvement in teams, individuals, and units.
  • Analysed opponents' strategies and performance to develop effective game plans, including scouting reports and creating/delivering video analysis.
  • Recruited potential players with scouting, initial contact, meeting with recruits and arranging and offering contracts.

20's Head Coach

  • Created and implemented an aggressive, possession based, attacking playing style to improve and showcase the individuals in the team while delivering team success.
  • Planning long and mid term training plans to ensure an all encompassing football curriculum, whilst addressing immediate areas of improvement.
  • Designing and leading all sessions to improve individual and team performance.
  • Creating and delivering both team and individual player performance plan's using video analysis, formal and informal communication and tailored individual training focus. This was always done in conjunction with the S&C staff, player welfare staff, and head of mental performance.
  • Lead of recruitment in the 20's space, including player scouting, initiating contact and conducting player meetings and contract/spot offers.
  • Developing strong individual connections and relationships through honesty, care, trust and respect. This helped build a fantastic team culture where everyone was focused on self improvement within the team structure, but wanting to help others succeed. A truely special environment.

Head of Holiday Programmes

  • In charge of Manly United's Holiday Camps, taking on 150 children per day, for 8 days over the holiday period.
  • Rostering and managing the 20+ strong staff for every camp, ensuring coaches are provided opportunity to learn, coach, and earn.
  • Designing and implementing daily/weekly/fortnightly camp activities and plan, including teaching new games and activities to coaches and children.
  • In charge of the 150 children per day, including health and safety protocols, supervision, pre/post camp pickup/dropoffs.
  • Contact point for player/parent complaints and conflict resolution.
  • Averaging a $30,000+ profit per camp, making the club close to $150,000 per year.

Head of Elite Football

  • Head of the Elite Football Programme at NSHS, in charge of 50 student-athletes.
  • Planning and delivering 2x sessions per week for the 2x age groups (Y6-8, Y9-10).
  • Leading the 2x age groups in School Competitions, including winning the 2022 Bill Turner Cup for the first time in NSHS history, and 2023 NSW State Futsal Championship.
  • Conducting the 2024 student-athlete mentoring programme, giving small groups personal mentoring on football and non football issues that student-athletes face ie mental health, physical health, academic planning and IPPP's.

BYL and SAP Head Coach
