- I set up my own company J&J Landscapes with a friend from school at the age of 20
- We specialised in garden design and hardscaping works i.e. Patios, Decking, Fencing, Retaining walls, Turfing, Artificial Turfing, Cladding work etc.
- I also run our social media platforms on Instagram, Facebook and our website which brings in most of our business
- working on how to bring in more business using different platforms online
- Carrying out full inspections of the clients property by taking measurements and looking for an obstructions that may hinder the project.
- we take all this information and lease with our client through email or on phone calls until a final agreement is met.
- We then move on to the quoting process where I try and find the right materials to match the clients needs and budget.
- Having to be involved in both sides of the business has taught me so much.
- It has given me a lot of skills that I can transfer over to any career path I choose to work in.
- Running my own business has given me a sense of work ethic and a real drive to succeed.
- I have used expert time management when working on deadlines to finish projects.
- I have had to be extremely organised to make sure materials arrive on time in order for us to keep to a tight schedule.
- Also having to be great with people and understanding their needs.
- Problem solving on projects when something changes all the sudden and having to think on my feet in the moment in a high pressure environment.
Sports Coach

- I worked as a sports coach for the company First Choice Coaching
- I coached a variety of sports while in this job and also a wide variety of age groups
- I was mainly working within cricket but in the winter months I was running rugby, football and hockey sessions.
- During the summer months we would run big cricket camps with as many as 60/70 children per day attending
- This obviously came with its challenges but taught me a lot about organisation and patience. Making sure everything ran smoothly.
- I also coached in other areas as well, running my own 1 to 1 sessions which taught me how to manage my time efficiently and again be very patient depending on the persons ability
- We also ran sessions with St Johns College in Cambridge where I took lessons in school and after school sessions for all age groups.

- I Started working for premier sport just to get some more coaching experience while also working for FCC
- I wanted to work in a completely different environment so I worked in a school in Cambourne and ran lunch time sessions for mainly the year groups 1 to 3.
- This gave me a whole new perspective on sports coaching and taught me to adapt my work in different situations.

- Chance to shine was the first real test I had as a sports coach
- I wanted to really throw my self in at the deep end so I started doing some sessions with CTS within primary schools in the Cambridge area
- I was on my own coaching usually 30+ kids each session which defiantly kept me on my toes and taught me how to plan and overcome certain challenges in a fast paced environment
- It also gave a big confidence boost in leading a class.

- This was my first job after I had left education and got back from travelling in Australia
- It is a company that develop Smart, electronic Dairy parlours for farms all over the UK and Europe
- My job was to work on the production floor, making the different components that go into milking parlours
- I was involved in every part of the production line from the soldering of the electronic boards all the way to the packing and shipping of the products at the end of the line.
