1) Responsible for managing site activities in its entirety to ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes.
2) Working with and providing requests, suggestions, updates and feedback from site to Project Managers, Engineers, and other Daifuku Oceania business units.
3) Development and maintenance of WHSE Site Specific Safety Plans and Project Site Risk Registers
4) Ensuring strict adherence with workplace site health and safety requirements for Daifuku Oceania staff, visitors and subcontractors.
5) Establishing clear budgets for each site subcontractor with the Project Manager.
6) Using site progress tracking tools to monitor progress of subcontractors in accordance with the main project schedule.
7) Site investigations and compilation of site design data as directed.
8) Supervision of subcontractors ensuring adherence with contract requirements.
9) Management of site QA ensuring installation testing is thoroughly carried out, recorded and signed off. Witnessing tests as required.
10)Site design including co-ordination of mechanical services, Electrical Services, establishment of cable routes, positioning of equipment etc.
11) On site commissioning and trouble shooting
12) Liaise with Client and other Stakeholders during Daily, Weekly and Monthly Meetings in Person and Via teams regarding Short Range Program, Schedules and Schedule Progress. Site Safety etc
13) Prepare Permits, SWMS, and any other relevant Paperwork to ensure Contractors are aware and working with in the Site Safety Procedures.
14) Design, Prepare and communicate Site safety initiatives to ensure a good Safety culture is adopted on site and all personnel are aware of theirs and others obligations and rights when it comes to working Safely in the Workplace.
15) Prepare, Organize and Deliver specific Site Inductions, Airport Security Inductions, Construction Site Inductions and Client Inductions for new personnel and Contractors on Site.

16) Kept sites compliant with OSHA, state, and local regulations to prevent unnecessary risks.

17) Maintained records and logs of work performed and materials and equipment used.

• Conduct Technical and Risk Assessments of Work Instructions for the conduct of planned and corrective maintenance generated by WAMA Stakeholders as part of an Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO) and on behalf of ANZAC SPO.
  • Undertake technical investigations arising from corrective maintenance requests and assist in the development of Work Instructions to enable a competent repairer to undertake the work to rectify the fault or defect
  • Be an active member of planning meetings.
  • Continually review existing Oil Condition Monitoring programs to ensure correct methods of implementation, data capture and analysis is being performed as per global best practices.
  • Daily monitor / update OCM /SOAP database and act as POC and Help desk function for all FFH stakeholders ( CoA and Non CoA) relating to all aspects of the Oil Sampling Programme.
  • Accountable as POC to monitor OCM /SOAP data quality ,review sampling frequencies against set cycles , trend oil sample turn around times , arrange Adhoc domestic / International sample delivery logistics and track deliverables within the agreed contract framework.
  • Act as Liaison between JFLA, FFH vessels and Intertek regarding re-sampling of contaminated samples , procedural updates and feedback relating to continuous improvement.
  • Provide WAMA or CoA with technical support and data wrt failure RCA’s / Investigations emanating from catastrophic component failure.

• Plan, schedule and execute condition assessments on all ship systems. Gas Turbines, Propulsion Diesels, auxiliary Diesels, fire main systems, saltwater systems, freshwater systems, reverse osmosis systems, doors and hatches, refrigeration and air conditioning systems, ships boats, ships cranes, bollards - electric motors and gearboxes. Main reduction gearboxes, cross connect gearboxes, controllable pitch propellers, ship stabilisers, ventilation systems and ships emergency response systems and many more pieces of equipment and systems.

  7. Design, facilitate and deliver oil condition monitoring program training to engineering personnel on board Anzac class vessels to ensure correct processes and practises are being used to ensure integrity and accuracy of results.
