1) Responsible for managing site activities in its entirety to ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes.

3) Development and maintenance of WHSE Site Specific Safety Plans and Project Site Risk Registers
4) Ensuring strict adherence with workplace site health and safety requirements for Daifuku Oceania staff, visitors and subcontractors.
5) Establishing clear budgets for each site subcontractor with the Project Manager.
6) Using site progress tracking tools to monitor progress of subcontractors in accordance with the main project schedule.
7) Site investigations and compilation of site design data as directed.
8) Supervision of subcontractors ensuring adherence with contract requirements.
9) Management of site QA ensuring installation testing is thoroughly carried out, recorded and signed off. Witnessing tests as required.
10)Site design including co-ordination of mechanical services, Electrical Services, establishment of cable routes, positioning of equipment etc.

15) Prepare, Organize and Deliver specific Site Inductions, Airport Security Inductions, Construction Site Inductions and Client Inductions for new personnel and Contractors on Site.

Competent in confirming completeness and conformance of Permit to Work Documents at the workplace and ensuring that all supporting certificates, Job Hazard Analysis, drawings and supporting documents are correct and attached to the permit
Ensuring that operational preparations, including process clearance and required isolations are being implemented at the worksite
Ensuring that any specified additional precautions that needed to be taken during the work, including the use of safety equipment and PPE, are implemented at the worksite

• Arc Air Gouging, Grinding, Pre Heating and Welding of components to Excavator Buckets using 232 Flux Core, 311 Flux Core and Verticore Flux Core wire, repairs include but are not limited to Crack repairs, building up Lip ends, removing and re welding wear strips and bridging strips welding GET that can weigh up to 400 KG and needs pre heating to 200 + degrees c
• Repairs and Modifications to Hand rails, fire fighting system brackets, digger boom and stick, Final Drives and Sprockets, Tracks and Track rollers, Travel Guards and other jobs requiring welding / Boiler making.
