Started Saltbush Pastoral Services Pty Ltd to provide contract services to Civil, Mining and Livestock businesses in the Port Augusta region.

• Employs 9 permanent staff as well as casuals as required.
• Engaged with buyers coming into our region to develop relationships and provide services that were hard to find.
• Saltbush Pastoral has completed projects for OZ minerals, UGL, NRW, BHP, Cowell Electric, SA Water, Ibedrola.
• Currently supporting number of potential projects that are coming into our region as well as ongoing support to existing customers.

• DSSA had 790 members.
• 3 staff in the secretariat.
• Chaired quarterly face to face meetings in various locations
• Management of the secretariat based in Armidale NSW.
• Liaised with board members on their individual portfolios.

• Start up Livestock trading and meat wholesale business. Trading and marketing regionally branded organic and non organic lamb product to 4 Australian states and 20 countries.
• Business development manager setting up marketing and supply chain systems. From regional SA paddocks to restaurants and wholesalers in 20 countries and around Austalia.
• Sales and marketing. Oversees and interstate trips to introduce our lamb product to end users.

• Designed and built portable livestock handling trailers.
• Contracted trailers to supply services to Livestock producers in SA and NSW.
• Start up business to 57 employees.
• Handled in excess of 500,000 sheep in year 3.
• Maintained professional, organized, and safe environment.
• Resolved staff member conflicts, actively listening to concerns and finding appropriate middle ground.
