-My role here is essentially a product support role for Letourneau/Komatsu WE1850/2350 loaders, currently looking after six of these between three Rio Tinto sites with the goal of keeping the availability of these over 85%

-I’ve been able to gain extensive knowledge on these machines as solely working on them for the past year including diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, full machine tuning and component change outs.

I’ve been working here for the last four and half years as a field service mechanic. We are an agent for Komatsu and have extensive knowledge with their equipment, we are also a “all brand repairer” which means I’ve had a large variety of work on a range of machinery including CAT, Hitachi, Volvo and Hyundai

- General servicing and maintenance

- Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults

- Working with others as well as working alone

- General Engineering

- Air Conditioning servicing and repairs

- Dealing with customers and meeting their needs

I started with this company in 2015 with the opportunity to complete a diesel mechanic apprenticeship,

- Completed my apprenticeship in agricultural equipment level four

- Predominantly worked on Duetz-Fahr and Kioti Tractors as we were the agent for them

- Wide range of repairs on attachments/implements

- Basic servicing and maintenance

- Basic diagnosing of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
