Summary

As a Psychosocial Recovery Coach and Mental Wellness Coach I work individuals with psychosocial disability and mental health conditions to help them achieve their recovery and wellness goals. I have over 25 years of experience in strength- based and trauma-focused interventions, and I am a Registered Psychiatric Nurse. I also draw on my own lived experience of overcoming physical and mental health challenges, which inspired me to pursue this career path. I understand the importance of building trusting relationships, nurturing strengths and values, and creating meaningful and rewarding activities. I am passionate about empowering others to regain their confidence, motivation, and resilience, and to enjoy a fulfilling and satisfying life.

Hobbies

I practice what I preach and am passionate about maintaining a healthy life style through good nutrition, movement and exercise and stress reduction. I love to snorkel and walk at the beach and go to the gym several times a week. My garden is my therapy and I love to grow everything from cacti to vegetables.
