Experienced Registered Adult Nurse with 19 years of experience in the public and private health care sectors in the UK and abroad. Thrived in acute clinical settings completing 4 ½ Years working in emergency departments and 5 Years working in cardio-thoracic and general Intensive Care Units. In addition to this I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of acute settings ranging from working on a cruise ship, the responsibility extended from holding a 911 pager and responding to all medical calls, assessing and treating all, and if needed transferring to the medical centre for definitive treatment. The role also included clinic work for both crew and passengers, and inpatient care, which extended from ward work up to intensive care level. Working as a ski nurse, nursing acute ski injuries on the ski field in New Zealand and France and general practice nursing care throughout the ski seasons.

In recent years working in education and training, developing training packages, educating and developing the workforce and medical and non medical students. Supporting the health and wellbeing of students through supportive sessions and clinical supervision.
