Cooking
I began to cook when I was 17 year old after my parent went back to HK and I started to cook for my sister and my brother. Although I don't have much experience on cooking before, but I do remembered that I watched cooking program on TV with my mum after school when I was young and always curious on how can different kind of food can put together and become a beautiful dish. My mum is a very good cook. And is so fortunate that she is a housewife and cook so much of the delicious food to the family everyday.
After moved into Australia, I have so much cooking opportunities and learn all the skills from TV, neighbours and do all the experiments on my brother too. And with over 30years of home cooking experience of the western and asian (especially Chinese) cooking. My creativity has improved alot and I always share my delicious meals with family and friends. And they all love it and enjoy it especially my husband and my children. And I still have a lot of passion on cooking.
Gardening
I start planting a lot of plants in my garden since we moved to our permanent home in Dec2022. There are some that grown happily and a few of them that do not have any success. During the planting process, it's all about patience and learning. And when I see the flower bloom, I'm so happy about it and the same feeling for my family too. And this is what I like about gardening
Hiking
I have hiking experience for over 6 years. I do hiking in a weekly basis with my girlfiends in HK. The hiking experience is all about staying close to the nature, having some exercise and help reduce stress and boost the mental health. In order to keep a health life, I will keep this hobby in Adelaide.
