Siqi (Janice) graduated from the University of Sydney with a Master's degree in International Business. She obtained her bachelor's degree in accounting in China, which is also her home country. The Master of International Business program focuses on understanding the global business environment and managing global operations and strategy. The program enabled her to develop an in-depth understanding of how companies operate and succeed in different markets.
She is particularly interested in multinational business operations and the strategic layout of multinational companies. During this program, she honed a series of valuable skills, including: 1. Strategic planning: proficient in creating and implementing strategic plans for international business development, feasibility analysis of entering target markets (PESTLE), risk assessment, company analysis (SWOT), industry analysis, and competitors analysis 2. Cross-cultural communication, can effectively bridge cultural differences and promote team cohesion.
She worked in the Marketing Department and Consulting Departments of various companies, She learned about the ways to expand sales channels and integrate market information, promote project planning. In the consulting department, she participated in the urban transportation-oriented development (TOD) pre-planning project and learned real estate data analysis.
She is now looking forward to taking up a strategic planning or international business development role in a multinational or consulting firm, where she can contribute to the growth of the company by identifying and leveraging global market opportunities. She's interested in consulting and real estate but is open to cross-industry opportunities.
