Description: The purpose of this project was to enable Thankyou Loyalty App users to redeem their rewards point directly to their HCF premium amount via BPAY
Achievements: I was primarily responsible for gathering requirements and conducting gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business goals and system capabilities. I collaborated with the Data and BI teams to define the BPAY file format, perform data mapping, and analyse data to generate financial reports required for reconciling reward BPAY payments. Additionally, I assessed business and technical risks associated with the project and implemented preventive measures to mitigate them.
Project-11 Title: TOC (Trajectory of Care) – Health & Wellbeing Mobile App Implementation
Description: The purpose of this project was to integrate & enable Health & wellbeing functions of dacadoo’s mobile application with HCF branding as white labelled solution.
Achievements: Primarily responsible for Requirements Discussion with SMEs & documentation, Gap Analysis to identify any discrepancies between the current state & future state, Team Mobilization to develop a comprehensive project plan, Data Mapping and Analysis to generate the required reports on member engagement, analysis of NewHealth API specifications to find additional fields to be added in existing API spec, worked with brand & content team for updated brand and content on impacted screens, analysed the functional/technical risk associated with the project and took the preventive measures. Led and participated in daily stand-ups meetings, ensuring comprehensive system and UAT sign-off for seamless production deployment.
Project-10 Title: System Transformation – Rate Change Statement Generation & Member Communication
Description: The purpose of this project was to generate Rate change PDF statement for PHI Members via Civica New Health system.
Achievements: Mobilized a team of testers, data analysts, developers for creating a plan to generate the Mailhouse file and PDF statements via a third-party provider (TFA). Performed gap analysis to identify discrepancies between the legacy system, third-party output file and the rate change output file to ensuring smooth transition. Engaged with SMEs to gather requirements for the output file from NH system, ensuring it met business needs and specifications. Analyzed and mapped data sources, output files, and PDFs for rate change mailings. Assisted team in generating links in the Global View, CRM and Member Portal. Analyzed & documented new system functionality to identify the correct jobs needed to run to generate output files for testing. Analyzed functional/technical risks for the project and implemented preventive measures to mitigate potential issues.
Project-9 Title: Member Giveback 2.0
Description: The purpose of the project was to transfer giveback $ amount to the members’ bank account via EFT & BPAY Transfer by generating specific bank file formats using ETL tool.
Achievements: Led business requirement discussions and performed initial analysis of member eligibility criteria to facilitate extraction of eligible member data from the core New Health database system. Engaged with NAB Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand & document the requirements for the NAB EFT file format, necessary for transferring Giveback amounts via direct EFT transfer. Collaborated with the digital marketing team to define member communication file formats to inform eligible members about the Giveback initiative and prompt them to update their bank account details for EFT transfers. Conducted comprehensive analysis and documentation of the BPAY file format for transferring Giveback amounts directly to health policies in case of failed EFT transfers for any membership. Collaborated closely with the data architect and security team to design secure solutions for data flow and file sharing with NAB and internal teams, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality throughout the process.
Project-8 Title: CYBRA – Cyber Security and Member Engagement Reporting via Tableau
Description: The purpose of this project was to implement MFA & 2FA capabilities and member engagement report generation for the use of new mobile app.
Achievements: Worked with Cyber Security team on the business requirement of implementation of MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) for Mobile App and Admin Portal users. Implementation of 2FA security measure for mobile app login via SMS and email. Tableau Reporting generation on user engagement across various platforms including HCF Retail website, Online Member Portal site, and Health & Wellbeing App pages and screens, aiming to provide actionable insights for improved user engagement and experience.
Project-7 Title: Trajectory of Care (TOC) – Digital Content Changes on Websites
Description: This project was aimed at digital upgradation of AEM Web pages across the HCF website including design and content.
Achievements: Collaborated on AEM webpage redesigns to enhance visibility, defined new Information Architecture with UI/UX teams, and documented functional requirements for Health & Wellbeing app integration. Documented reports requirement in Tableau. Created process flows in draw.io, managed Jira/Confluence documentation, and led stakeholder coordination, daily stand-ups, and UAT sign-off for successful deployment.
Project-6 Title: System Transformation – Claims Data Migration from Legacy System for ATO Statement Generation via New System
Description: This project was aimed on migration of member data from the WHICS system to Civica’s NewHealth system to generate the ATO statements for the financial year reporting and member communication.
Achievements: As part of the Phoenix system transformation project, I successfully managed the migration from the legacy WHICS system to Civica’s NewHealth system, ensuring the seamless transfer of all member data from the old DB2 database to the new system by October 2020. A comprehensive gap analysis was performed to compare the third-party output file from the legacy system with the new system, followed by data source analysis and mapping to generate member output files and PDF statements for the ATO mailing project.
Project-5 Title: OVHC Claims Partner Portal Development
Description: The project was aimed to develop a Website Partner Portal for immigration agents for empowering them to directly manage user accounts, enroll new members, handle payments and commissions and minimize the involvement of HCF staff.
Achievements: I successfully led the documentation of business requirements and workflow for the OVHC migration to the Partner Portal, engaging stakeholders through tools like Confluence and Jira. I collaborated with testing teams to define functionalities, facilitated UAT with SMEs, and coordinated go-live activities, ensuring seamless adoption and integration of new partners.
Project-4 Title: Phoenix System Transformation – Claims Legacy System Transformation to New Health Claims System and Data Migration from Legacy System to Civica’s New Health System
Description: As part of the Phoenix Claims System Transformation project, I served as the business Analyst in the migration from the legacy WHICS platform to Civica’s NewHealth claims management system. This role encompassed a wide scope from data migration and regulatory outputs to business rules, UI/UX workflows, and API documentation ensuring a successful system rollout and end-user adoption.
Achievements: 1. Claims Data Migration & Gap Analysis – Led the seamless transition of member and claims data from the legacy database to the NewHealth system. Conducted comprehensive gap analysis of third-party NewHealth system functionalities in comparison with legacy system functionality for health claims management.
2. UI/UX requirements gathering for Claims Management system: Collaborated with the UX/UI design team to define user interface requirements for claims tracking, status updates, and exception workflows. Created mock wireframes and process flows for both member-facing and staff-facing claim dashboards. Collected feedback from end users and testing teams to improve navigation, accessibility, and usability across multiple screen types.
