  • Assist trade scaffolders assemble and disassemble Doubles Piggy's standard handrails, boards scaffolds, service scaffolding by dipping in WD40 to make sure they were turning, packing scaffolding orders at workshop and returning to the workshop after use, general labouring duties, clean-ups, work area preparation and safety barricade installation
  • Perform Sentry duties utilising ITX atmospheric testing to check for potential hazardous gases, Spotting and Firewatch duties including securing the work area using the correct barricading, information signage and using effective two-way radio communication with all SIMOPS
  • Undertaking physical manual labour lifting over 30KG, following correct manual handling techniques when lifting, shoveling, moving materials and equipment
  • Utilise a variety of tools and equipment to install scaffolding including forklifts, Bobcats, drills, grinders, shovels, high-pressure cleaners, rollers, broom's, hoses, screeds, wheelbarrows
  • Safely working at heights using EWPs to perform installation and strip formwork, ensuring all work areas are barricaded, exclusion zones are in place and information tags/signage are displayed correctly
  • Safely using a forklift to move equipment/materials to and from work area and re-arranging materials and cages in workshop
  • Work both autonomously and within a team, consistently meet daily operational KPI targets while adhering to safety standards, environmental regulations and project schedules, maintaining proper housekeeping, ensuring the safe storage of materials and equipment at end of shift, while keeping the work area free from obstacles and hazards
  • Utilise various vehicles to transport workers and equipment to job sites, drive safely, adhere to road rules, site regulations and perform daily vehicle prestart, including checking tyre pressure, lights, oil and fluid levels
  • Ensure full compliance with site and company safety procedures, including following JHAs, SOPs, hazard identification and reporting, participating in morning prestart safety meetings and using the correct P.P.E
