  • I worked on both commercial vessels for the company on day trips,sunset tours, and overnight trips sailing the Whitsunday Islands. After 6 months of working with the company, I undertook and completed an apprenticeship in maritime operations
  • Operated winches, rigging, setting sails, all lines and equipment on deck and involving passengers
  • Completed a master class 5 task book
  • Trained all new crew on both vessels
  • Followed safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and enforced safety regulations
  • Directed crew members cleaning, maintaining and painting or varnishing various ship areas
  • Inspected and maintained deck equipment and supplies.
  • Communicated clearly, concisely, and politely with passengers and crew members up to 24 guests.
  • Collaborated with management to keep detailed inventory records and replenish supplies onboard.
