  • Essentials by AAI Insurance was launched in 2015 in partnership with Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand (formerly Good Shepherd Microfinance) to provide affordable and simple insurance for people on low incomes who would otherwise be financially excluded.
  • I liaise with microfinance workers and financial counselors to provide support and raise awareness of the importance of insurance as part of the financial conversation during the application process with clients for No or Low Interest Loans.
  • I am responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations for Essentials insurance, such as customer care, processes, marketing, compliance, reporting, pricing, and research.
  • Responsibilities also include training, coaching, and mentoring Suncorp and Good Shepherd staff to ensure smooth adoption of new programs and procedures.

  • This enterprise was also a pillar of Suncorp's Reconciliation Action Plan.
