I am Currently working as a General Practitioner in a busy practice.

I started GP training at Stellar Medical centre in Fernvale where I quickly learned new skills related to General Practice and applied them to daily day to day running of busy clinic, improving efficiency and productivity and performed duties in accordance with applicable standards, policies and regulatory guidelines to promote safe working environment.

I have worked as a Medical Officer in 28 bed Coronary Care Unit in Wesley Hospital. In addition to providing care to the Cardiac patients, I was responsible for urgently reviewing seriously unwell patients.

This gave me an invaluable opportunity to learn cardiology by working closely with senior cardiologists and being involved in day to day running of the busy ward

I have worked in busy Redlands hospital where I completed a 14 week term in Emergency Department and 10 week term in Pediatric Emergency department.

I have Worked in multiple hospitals whilst caring for my baby which gave me perfect work life balance. These locum shifts ranged from 1 week to 1 month in various Emergency departments of the following hospitals including

Occupational Medical Officer Medibank and Locum After hours GP

During this time, I worked as an Occupational health officer with Medibank performing Employment medicals for various companies and managing workplace accidents.

I also worked as a locum after hours GP for House call Doctor where I saw patient's in their own environment providing care afterhours.

• Appropriately diagnosed and treated a variety of diseases and injuries in a hospital setting
  
• Ordered and executed diagnostic tests and analyzed diagnostic images to further investigate patient conditions.
• Administered and prescribed appropriate courses of treatment, including pharmaceutical medications.
• Advised and educated patients regarding diet, hygiene and effective disease prevention methods.
• Monitored patients' condition and progress and re-evaluated treatments as necessary.
• Admitted and treated patients as part of the hospital’s 24-hour on-call services.
• Effectively led teams of junior level physicians, nurses and medical students in caring for inpatient, outpatient, and surgical patients to ensure quality care.

• Successfully completed Emergency department, General medical, surgical and Psychiatry rotations as a Medical Officer.

• Successfully completed Emergency Medicine, General surgery and General Medical Rotation.
