In August 2022, I was approached by Harcourts and began working with them shortly after. As Harcourts had a much larger portfolio, I quickly developed further skills whilst managing over 180 properties. My day to day included formalising rent increase notices and lease renewals / agreements, completing all forms of inspections and following up on maintenance. As well as liaising with trades, tenants and landlords. I was responsible for project managing substantial renovations and property improvements. This included sourcing trades that Harcourts had not previously worked with, coordinating repair timelines across trades such as builders, plumbers and tilers. On many occasions I was responsible for making decisions on the behalf of the landlords and directly sourcing materials myself to complete the repairs as well as communicating with Insurance Agencies to rectify damaged properties. I also had dealings with VCAT to manage breach notices including rent arrears, property cleanliness and damage issues, bond claims and compensation claims.
At Barry Plant, I began my career in Property Management with a portfolio of over 100 properties. This was to ensure both satisfaction from both tenants and landlords.
