Funeral Director/Office Manager
Norman J Penhall Funerals
Orange, Nsw
11.2011 - 03.2024
As Manager, senior Funeral Director and Justice of the Peace at Penhall Funerals I have lead a highly dedicated and successful team for many years.
I created Hope’s Garden a free of charge Memorial Garden for all babies in the Orange and district area. I'm highly passionate about this as I believe that families shouldn't be charge for funerals of young precious lives.
The importance of displaying 100% professionalism when dealing with families on their initial contact with me through to the delivery of the funeral where families are made to feel comfortable and confident that the funeral director has all aspects covered and that the final farewell will be remembered for all the right reasons.
I display compassion, calmness and a quiet confidence at all times. Because we are a small business, I have had to know everything about every funeral at any given moment. However, it has made me a lot more efficient at my position and I love the challenge and high pace at which I must work at in order to deliver professionalism in the work place.
The interactions with the community and the honour of performing funerals for family and friends is a great privilege and something I hope to do until the day I retire. In my current role as Manager I’m am required to participate in all aspects of the industry.
