I have worked for this employer since December 1996, previously CSR wood products then Carter Holt Harvey then Borg panels who just recently changed their title to Australian panels. I started off on the factory floor as a forklift operator then worked my way through as an operator of sanding, sawing machines and high bay storage systems which are all operated in a control room by various computer systems.

For about 10 years before July 2021 I became a 2IC and filled in as a team leader when my current one at the time was on leave. Then in 2021 the job was advertised as a permanent position when my team leader retired, I applied and was successful in obtaining the role. I have worked in this position since, leading a team of people to safely process raw MDF and particle board with quality and efficiency a key focus.

Also helping out where needed including producing standard operating procedures, updating training packages and other various work standards.

Also being able to get the team to meet the companies KPI's and filling out reports and balancing figures.
