Summary

I am currently an Electrical Team Leader with Rail Control Systems Australia (RCSA) and an approved CRR UNITY Supervisor, responsible for the construction and installation of electrical rail signalling equipment, delivering the northern scope of the Cross River Rail project. This includes conventional signalling as well as ETCS Level 2 in the CRR rail tunnels and Platform Screen Door equipment at the surface stations. In my previous role as the Queensland Rail Asset Acceptance Coordinator, I conducted Handover & Acceptance functions for Signalling, Telecommunications, Traction power & Substation assets delivered by the Cross River Rail project, representing the Rail Systems Technology Asset Manager. This function gave me significant insight into the contractual dynamic between Queensland Rail, TMR and the CRR tunnel stations facilities maintenance sub-contractor arrangement. Between these two roles and others, I have developed extensive experience and exposure to both the practical aspects of rail asset management as well as effective stakeholder engagement with multiple parties including various QR Asset Managers, Major Project Operational Readiness teams and various CRR Alliance entities (CRRDA, SEQUENCE, UNITY etc). During my role as the Network Shift Asset Manager, I utilised my experience as a Cert IV Signal Electrician to facilitate optimal maintenance access and, in escalated fault scenarios, directly strategized with QR’s Network Operations team to safely assess, respond to and resolve network issues, minimising impact to live rail operations.
