Part of a leadership team in a South-East Victoria flagship store entrusted with the largest new mobile acquisition target nationally.
Main responsibilities included:

  • Aiding Store Manager(s) with oversight of 30+ staff members ensuring KPI’s (based on a points per product system and Net Promoter Score customer satisfaction survey rating) are met by each staff member and business compliance rules are strictly adhered to.
  • I was required to analyze customer data and sales metrics to identify their influence on store KPI achievement. Using this data, I formulated action plans and coaching strategies that were then presented to staff to ensure a minimum individual achievement of 80% to target and 95% compliance adherence was always followed. Due my guidance in the sale process and operational tweaks, Chadstone finished #3 in Pacesetter 2025 – a annual, national Optus competition ranking stores based on sale volume, compliance and positive customer experience.
  • Directly addressed customers, ranging from public consumers to Small/Medium Business Owners (ranging from 0-100 employees), in provisioning of products, de-escalation of complaints and education of breakthrough device technology. I was required to have extensive product knowledge in mobile sim plans, devices (tablets, smartwatches, phones, modems), internet plans and accessories. I also frequently maintained post initial contact relationships with customers to ensure a positive customer experience and repeat business. Frequently applied active listening and the above product and system knowledge to finish trade at up to 500% to target.
  • Due to my acumen and proficiency in exceeding sales targets I was assigned to complete 2 secondments at Fountain Gate as Assistant Manager and Knox as Store Manager. My influence in these temporary roles resulted in a tripling of Knox's Points-Per-Foot-Traffic conversion, doubling of new customer acquisition and via my efficacy in utilizing strong sale closing techniques, Fountain Gate won a monthly award for highest SMB customer sales conversion rate (based on a 1-in-100 customer denominator.

Main Responsibilities involved:

  • Compelling proposals and demonstrations to successfully provision Optus products to business customers ranging from sole trader sized businesses to employers with up to 100 staff. Secondarily, I was often required to present data to sales associates relating to Year-To-Date target positioning of store within business sector and conducting subsequent internal workshop activities to boost business KPI’s within this sector.
  • Maintenance of previously established customer relationships and the development of new partnerships with locally situated business to progress advancement of Optus Market share. Frequently visited local businesses (Moorabbin Flight School) with the objective of successfully acquiring repeat and new business from International Students and staff. My resulting efforts in upholding and formulating these relationships resulted in an average of 25 New Business Mobile acquisitions per quarter and, at its largest, a recontract of 55 fixed term mobile plans inclusive of 15 devices. These results accounted for, at times, 75% of monthly targets for the Southland branch.
  • Non-inclusive of the off-site sales data, I frequently ended trading months as top 3 salesman (overall sales volume including consumer sales) out of a team of 35 sales associates. In the specific role, commissions were solely based on store target directly relating business sector achievement - my displayed results in all KPI's proves I am committed to providing outstanding sales service as well as driving market share increase for my organisation.
  • Furthermore, I am empathic to customer requests receiving an award in May '21 for nationally placing top 10 in average customer satisfaction survey results (NPS score - denominator being total sales volume).

Business Banking - Customer Close
