Over 20 years’ experience working in the ICT industry under many different roles. This includes Channel Sales/Pre-sales roles, Project management, Vendor management. Experienced in the design/configuration/troubleshooting of all the major cloud communication platforms which includes Zoom Video Communications, Microsoft Teams, Ring central and Cisco Webex. I have a strong background in network protocols, firewalls and topologies as well as API integrations, Cloud security and identity/access management. I have High-level interpersonal and communication skills and have a proven track record of working with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and deliver high quality solutions that meet their needs. with strong technical skills, self-motivated, an effective problem solver with the ability to work under pressure in fast paced, challenging environments. Zoom Phone Solutions Engineer

  • There was a newly created role at Zoom
  • Zoom Phone had the inaugural launch in the U.S in 2018
  • Zoom phone was planned to be released in ANZ early 2019
  • I jumped at the role
  • I was in charge of the Zoom Phone Beta rollout for ANZ in early 2019
  • Did Zoom phone bench testing before the Beta trial
  • Had to fix many Errors/Bugs
  • Worked on Public documentation and marketing material for the rollout
  • Kicked off the zoom beta trial for ANZ
  • I was extermely busy
  • Providing 8-10 Phone demos to customers every day
  • During the beta trial I would of done 80 + demos to customers
  • I was the only one that could demonstrate the new product and Activate the Zoom phone trials for customers
  • I was rewarded for my work from the local AE’s
  • I was runner up in the global zoomie of the month award in July
  • Just missed out on first place
  • Presented Zoom phone At our partner bootcamps in Australia
  • These were live presentations to our partners
  • As well as interactive demonstrations with the partners
  • Providing enablement sessions on zoom phone for each sales sector in Australia
  • Giving them the full 101 on zoom phone, and the questions to ask their clients to deliver value
  • Worked on numerous large deployments, Focusing on the customers pain points and working on a tailored solution that would fit their environment
  • Taking detailed notes throughout the customer meetings, Then gathering all the success criteria and then working on a successful proof of concept
  • Started Work on the NAB deal in middle of 2019
  • Worked on it from start to finish, all through the project stage which went on for over a year and still working with them daily to deliver in their deployment stage into production
  • We delivered 30 + feature requests and fixed over 15 defects NAB and zoom have found
  • Moved on to Rakuten in Japan
  • Similar size and scope to NAB
  • They had more moving parts
  • Was the only SE working on the Rakuten Zoom phone Deal
  • Complex BYOC setup with two Cisco Cube SBC’s running round- robin and having Multiple IP addresses for ISP redundancy
  • Very proud working on this deal from start to finish, and With it being the largest current zoom phone deal in APAC.
  • Set up fortnightly Zoom Phone SE sessions with the whole APAC SE team
  • Doing more interactive training with them

  • Training and Reviewing the latest Zoom phone releases every month

  • It was very early days at Zoom
  • I could see that the product was amazing, We had a great team and great future ahead of us
  • Helping the midmarket team to close some very lucrative deals in APAC
  • Worked on numerous large deployments, Focusing on the customers pain points and working on a tailored solution that would fit their environment

  • Recommending the correct partner to work with when it comes the Audio visual hardware
  • Recommending the Correct hardware to use for their rooms according to size and acoustics
