Having obtained my Certificate III in Electrotechnology and gaining over 4 years' experience in residential, commercial, industrial and mining sectors, I am now to continue my ventures in the mining & resources industry. My peak physical fitness, combined with my quick thinking & problem-solving skills, make me an ideal candidate for this dynamic, fast-paced sector. My aptitude for learning and my outstanding social skills sees me working effectively with colleagues and clients alike. With a passion for quality craftsmanship and a desire to expand my horizons, I'm eager to bring my energy and expertise to a new team and take on the challenges & opportunities that the mining & resources industry presents.

I bring with me a growth mindset and I thrive on new challenges, always seeking opportunities to enhance my skills and knowledge.   • Wide experience in a short time working in camp constructions, plant shutdowns and plant projects.
  • Worked in different teams with a wide knowledge of all FIFO & mining sectors.
  • Completed Mt. Marion camp upgrade working on everything from simple cable pull, fit offs and testing, up to, Transformer upgrades, fit off and testing.
  • Completed shutdown at Christmas Creek, completing various disconnect / reconnects, various large cable pulls and plant servicing.
  • currently working on the Lucky Bay plant upgrade doing all types of work, namely pulling control cables for Motor Control Centre and really getting an understanding for how the control circuits work in conjunction with the operating plant.

The most recent school job I was second in command and I feel like I learnt the most this year with being handed all the decision making and team leading duty's that came with the role.
  • Awarded with 'Apprentice Of The Year' award for the year of 2022, for my skills and knowledge of the electrical works, how to lead a team, how to communicate with fellow workers, other trades and builders etc, and my keen attitude towards work.
  • Learned and followed latest electrical regulations and practices to deliver compliant electrical systems.

  • Completed multiple swings at Roy Hill mine site, achieving an earthing grid system upgrade for plant upgrades.
  • Familiarised myself with a 2-1 lifestyle working away in the mines, which i became very accustomed to and quite fond of, not wanting to leave it at the time.
  • Completed a wide variety of civil, mining, industrial, commercial and some residential jobs.
  • Completed a multitude of jobs laying lengths of underground conduit for multiple hundred metre runs, including spotting all excavations, setting up laser level to get trench heights, hand digging, backfilling, laying danger tape and compacting.
  • Learned about hard work and team skills working long shifts, mainly working on installing underground conduit supplying and connecting lightpoles, sub-station transformers, electrical kiosk's, switchyard buildings, as well as wiring and connecting final sub-circuits in multiple switchyard buildings.
  • Learned to follow strict health and safety, as well as proper practices doing jobs for companies such as Western Power, Public Transport Association and Roy Hill.
