  • Since leaving Year 10 I have been working in the roofing & construction industry. I completed my certificate 3 in roof plumbing in April 2016.
  • My role in the company was to run a crew of approximately 3-5 workers. I've worked on many different types of construction sites domestic & commercial. Working with project managers, architects and owner builders.
  • Type of work included, removing roofing and purlins, installing new purlins, wire, insulation and roofing. Also new roofs in both commercial & domestic.
  • Other duties included. Check worksite is safe and ready for the job to begin. Check and sign SWSM for the job Make sure all crew know the proper safety requirements.
  • I then stepped into the power station industry as a Trades Assistant helping out trades such as boiler makers, Riggers, Fitters & scaffolders.
