Having managed a Test and Tag franchise for the past 9 years, I am familiar with the methods, and stringent requirements needed for safe and responsible testing and tagging. As a Technician, I have tested and tagged across a range of various sectors including high-risk health institutions such as Dandenong Hospital, The Epworth Hospital, Austin Private Hospital including the Operating Theatres. Public institutions such as the ABC Headquarters consisting of the Television studios and the Radio broadcasting centre’s, and private organizations such as CUB, Super Cheap stores, Myers, Mercy Aged care Centre’s. This experience has taught me the importance of maintaining strict adherence to regulations. I established and operated a Brakes Plus Franchise employing four staff, including two Apprentices. I then purchased a Mr Muffler franchise As the owner and manager of the stores, I was responsible for all sales and marketing of the store. As, I was the first point of contact for customers either by telephone or in store, I developed all the essential skills of being a very good salesman. , I was able to win the store of the month within four months of starting. And later went on to be one of the most successful stores in the system. As a secretary to a Community organization, I had to initiate and organize various sports activities and social events for the youth and young adults of that community for a period of six years. Having a great sense of humor, and a bright personality, I get along well with others. My professional experience has given me a strong capability to work in a in a team environment, as well as an understanding of the importance of being able to work efficiently independently. Currently, a franchise holder of Testel Australia. As a Test and Tag Technician, I test all electrical equipment according to the AS/NZS 3760 standard ensuring that all electrical appliances are compliant in all sectors including hospitals, aged care, health institutions and other private and public organizations, that I am entrusted with. Began career as Trainee Technician with Telecom Australia and went on to qualify as Technical Officer. I led a team of four technicians in the installation of switching equipment in telephone exchanges in the CBD area. Established and operated a Brakes Plus franchise employing four staff, including two apprentices and went on to own and manage a Mr Muffler franchise. Maintained Store of the month, in both franchise systems regularly for over ten years, by exceptional salesmanship and awesome customer service.
