Summary

I am an experienced and knowledgeable Nursing Assistant, possessed more than 16 years of experience working in Acute Medical setting in renowned NHS trust hospitals in UK.I have recently moved to Australia with my family.

Although, I had a different professional background qualification in the past ,I always worked as a health care assistant ever since I moved in to UK. Since I joined in to the health care the I have augmented my knowledge and experience working as a senior nursing assistant in Acute medical assessment units under the supervision of qualified nursing staffs and the unit managers. I have various qualities as a senior nursing assistant such as I am empathetic, patient oriented, ready to adapt a new situation and diligent. Working in such a busy paced environment of MAU evolved me to act efficiently in emergency situation and assist qualified staffs to deliver safe care to patients. I was always up to date with my mandatory trainings and was willing to learn and take new responsibilities such as mentoring newly joint nursing assistants. I am proficient in IT skills and worked in the IT department delivering staff trainings in wards and other units as a secondment role. I have good experience in working with Covid positive patients during the pandemic and trained in using PPEs such as Donning and Doffing. I have received training provided by NHS in Venepuncture, ECG, Taking vital signs, electronic recording and swift reporting of deteriorating patient conditions to the delegated nursing staff or medics, etc.

I have possessed an excellent communication skill working with patients, their relatives and other MDT's. I am always aware that being a nursing assistant in MAU should be resilient as the environment can be changed any moment because of the number of admissions and its nature of emergencies. During the period working in MAU, I was praised by my colleagues about my hard working nature and my ability to learn new things quickly.

I always try to be compassionate to my patients and a supporting member to my team. I have successfully completed two years of Apprenticeship in Healthcare and obtained a Level Three certificate in which is equivalent of Level Three in Australia.

I strongly believe that my background experience in Health Care would be apt to this position and really dreaming about working with you. Empathetic Care Worker with sensitive and compassionate approach to cultivating trusting, stimulating and varied lifestyle for residents. Offers enhanced care with flexible learning approach for patients.
