Established in 1927, Zimmer Biomet has designed developed and manufactured orthopaedic products including knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, foot and ankle. My Role included:

  • Developing and managing relationships with current surgeons and increasing their knowledge of other products available to them through Zimmer Biomet
  • Developing relationships with surgeons not using Zimmer Biomet products to assist in their care for patients
  • Using research and reviewing the registry results to provide market intelligence on my products and competitors to help develop / improve my relationships with the local surgeons
  • Implemented creative solutions to address unique challenges faced by different clients, demonstrating adaptability in problem-solving approaches.

  • Providing exceptional clinical support to surgeons using Zimmer biomet hip, knee and trauma products and maintaining high level of product knowledge
  • Ensure that all booking received from surgeons are inserted into salesforce, speaking with the Planning team to confirm surgeon’s preferences for case and warehouse so that all implants and instruments are provided to hospital
  • Supporting the hospital staff in all aspects of the procedure including ordering of instruments and implants, check in of instruments with cssd, collecting trays on surgery day and assisting with surgeon workflow to make the procedure run smoothly
  • Supporting the hospital with regular stock take and returning replenishment of Consignment stock so that all implants are fully stocked for the procedure
  • Providing inservice with hospital staff with regards to current prosthesis being used and how to use instruments to provide a better service for the surgeon

  • Providing exceptional clinical support to surgeons on Exactech and Signature Ortho products and maintaining high level of product knowledge
  • Using GPS and Navigation products to provide state of the art technology to increase accuracy of the surgery
  • Support surgical procedures in the hospital environment
  • Ensure that all booking received from surgeons are transferred into Team calendar, forwarded to warehouse so that all implants, instruments and GPS machines are provided to hospital
  • Collecting and uploading CT scans onto GPS planning App so that Navigation can be used in Surgical procedure
