• Queensland Police Juvenile Pipes and Drums (6 years) - during my times with the QPJP&D i have experienced working in a group environment and practiced consistently enough to achieve the #1 prize in the juvenile pipe band division along with the rest of my band members
• Australian Army Cadets (5 years) during high school, i participated in the local cadet unit where i first got the opportunity to learn Australian army practices and procedures in an extremely active environment where disrespect or a certain amount of mistakes would result in said cadet getting ripped into. It was in this environment that i gradually rose the ranks through field exercises and courses aimed at training various leadership skills. Due to this I was eventually responsible for looking after my own squad, organizing lessons, leading field exorcises whilst keeping track of the general safety of my team, mediating arguments and motivating my team to keep pushing on. It's due to my experience in not just my previous official work position but my experience overcoming difficulties and challenges in the cadets that I believe that I would be an appropriate applicant for your position
