As a Process Operator Majority of my experience are in each area of departments listed; Crushing, Conveyers Milling and Screening, Acid Leaching through High pressure High capacity Auto Claves, Counter Current decantation, Various types of thickeners and thickening processes, Neutralising Circuits, Tailing and water dams, Basic DCS operating, Isolating very technical equipment to be worked on safetly, I also chose to do every pre start safety meeting to ensure my team understands all the hazards of the major hazardous facility; and am very active with keeping all members and workers safe. I'm very passionate about Operating and in turn am very confident in my skills in all Areas listed above and below

This role was work experience i chose to do whilst i was at school; my dad was a process operator at the time and i wanted to get experience in the role; i only worked here 1 day a week but it allowed me get a very good understanding of what being a process operator is and led me to have a passion for process operating, I valued my time at CSBP due to them allowing me to take regular samples, be apart of every friday safety meeting, writing a JSEA, being involved with Team based risk assessments and incident reporting, learning the hierarchy of controls,understand the risks of working in a process environment, engage with the CRO confidently over the radio,be involved with isolating equipment and what the true meaning behind a test for dead is and how to do this all safely.
