I am an active volunteer for Camp Quality. Camp Quality gives younger children, that have been diagnosed with cancer, and are undergoing or have recently undergone chemotherapy, the opportunity to create ever-lasting memories. Camp Quality also makes you realize how lucky we are to not have gone through what these children have and are still going through. Volunteering for Camp Quality is a life-changing experience and one I appreciate in my day to day life.
I spent time during school, and 6 months out of school volunteering for Rosies. Rosies is an organization that take out stocked vans, (i.e. food, cold drinks, warm drinks, noodles etc.) to certain locations throughout Australia, where higher percentages of homelessness is more prevalent. This service provides all amenities listed above to those lesser fortunate.
