I am 24 years old and graduated from Kingaroy State High School in 2016. I grew up on a farm as my parents own a small horse stud, so I have always been around livestock and in the country. I worked at Sunshine Mitre 10 Kingaroy for 4 years and I was a reliable cashier known for consistent and productive work ethic. I can maintain an upbeat and positive demeanor in high-stress situations. I’m an enthusiastic team player and fast learner, eager to learn new processes and techniques to enhance individual and team productivity. I also hold a current open drivers license, and I have my own vehicle.
From January 2018 – January 2023 I have been working on cattle stations all over Queensland. I did two years as a governess, then two years as a mixed nanny/station hand, then a year as a mixed governess/station hand. I have taught almost all primary grades, and as a nanny I looked after children from newborn-3 years old. As a station hand, I have gained experience in all aspects of cattle work, and I have also done a little bit of work with doing water runs, fixing leaks etc.
From March 2023 till present, I have been working at the South Burnett Regional Council as a trainee administration officer in Development Services (planning, plumbing, building). During my time at Council, I have learnt all general administrative duties, even being the sole administrator in the Plumbing department for two months when their administration officer left.
