Summary

Compassionate and energetic Primary School Teacher with broad experience across Kindy to Year 6, and a particular passion for working with younger primary students. I bring a strong foundation in inclusive education and support for diverse learning needs, underpinned by a deep commitment to student wellbeing and growth. My teaching approach combines play-based and inquiry learning with trauma-informed, strengths-based practices—ensuring every learner feels seen, supported, and empowered. I am especially passionate about Mathematics, where I design engaging, hands-on tasks that foster deep conceptual understanding and build student confidence. I believe that when learners truly grasp mathematical concepts, they unlock their potential across all areas of learning. Inspired by EYLF Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners, I regularly incorporate open-ended exploration and real-world connections into my lessons to encourage curiosity and resilience. Returning to the classroom after two years of maternity leave, I bring renewed energy, enthusiasm, and a heartfelt commitment to nurturing a vibrant and inclusive school community.
