Growing up on a farm has helped my basic hands on skills from a young age. Working for my Dad picking vegetables has given me advantages of giving me knowledge about horticulture, marketing, basic working conditions along with the basic skills. Coming to Agricultural school has also grown my knowledge massively for both agriculture and trades as i was passionate about learning more about both. Going out of year 10 i decided to do work experience at E.E Muir's and Sons in Manjimup to get a taste of agronomy, which i was also passionate for as i learned much more on this week of work experience. Learning at agricultural school has given me my skills as well as the work i've been working at on holidays. From agriculture and horticulture skills to engineering and trade skills i have gained many skills for more jobs and personal needs in the future.
As my job on the holidays i worked for my dad to help pick cauliflowers as he was in need for workers.
My work experience in year 10 was held at E.E Muirs and Sons, Manjimup working with agronomists around the lower south west region, learning all about plant nutrients and strategies for pests.
