Responsibilities

• Consulting with clients during pre-sales and sales process
• Organising and running discovery workshops to elicit project requirements
• Documenting “as-is” via system architecture diagram and business process flows (BPMN)
• Documenting “to-be” via system architecture diagrams, business process flows (BPMN), and functional and technical requirements documents
• Development of best-practice solutions to meet client business requirements
• Research and testing of all API integrations to prove solutions are fit for purpose
• Data migration leveraging SQL, Python, APIs, and applying business rules to convert data from one system to another
• Development of rapid POC applications to trial solutions (Excel VBA/SQL/API)

The sole BA, collaborating closely with PMs, UI/UX designers and developers across various eCommerce implementations - specialising in the Shopify and Magento platforms.

At the ABC, I worked within a business-wide project team to implement a Rights Management system across the entire organisation.

Responsibilities

• Consulting with internal clients to elicit project requirements
• Designing and documenting the low-level functional and technical solution for the integration of the rights system to the sales system, including payments and invoicing
• Collaborating with an offshore development team to ensure the solution was built and implemented correctly and in a timely manner

My role at Nine Entertainment Co. saw me involved in many varied projects and BAU areas:

Responsibilities

• Technical responsibility for Nine's scheduling and broadcast application, Phoenix. Design of application enhancements. Liaising with development teams and business stakeholders
• Involvement in many aspects of Nine's sales system, Saturn
• Data migration of radio sales data into TV sales system - including automated ad placement
• Design of sales reports (Excel) and dashboards (Tableau) for Commerce and Sales teams
• Design and implementation of cross-platform sales campaign reporting
• Implementation of Nine Media Room, a video preview website for media users

My role at Datamine was mainly technical, but I also dealt with clients, both managing projects and specifying, designing and building custom data and application solutions. I was involved day-to-day with most of the company's top clients, and was responsible for projects including:

Responsibilities

• Sole responsibility for the design and implementation of a solution to facilitate and assist with the migration of many disparate payroll systems into one new system for a large New Zealand company
• Project and relationship management of a production datamart and related solutions for one of the company's top clients
• Specification, design and build of an automated pricing system and associated functions for a major client. This system will allow the client to eliminate a complex, problem-laden set of inter-related spreadsheets and data queries. It also uses resulting information to generate forecasts to allow for better decision making for the client
• Design and build of custom application to allow easy and flexible setup and scheduling of the publishing of data from one source to another

In my second stint at Bendon, as well as dealing with the areas outlined below, I took a more senior role in the team's project work, notably:

• BAU for retail, wholesale and logistics operations
• Lead responsibility for various subprojects of the company's E-Commerce project, from logistics integration to gift card processing, formatting and printing
• Project management of the specification and implementation of a company-wide, web-based reporting and dashboarding system
• Design and implementation of a PR showroom lending library system for lingerie samples

At the AA, I worked within the Web & Database Department. I was responsible for the management of the organisation's database, one of the biggest customer databases in NZ.

• Maintenance of customer database
• Dealing with internal customers' direct marketing campaign requirements
• Writing SQL scripts to extract data per customers' specifications
• Working closely with the team's statistical modeler to integrate predictive model statistics into data extracts
