I believe that my experience in both dealing with diverse pockets of the community and running a successful small Business would put me in good steed to be an achiever in the ATO.


I have good interpersonal skills and fully understand the importance of working within a team and have always fostered this skill in any position I have ever held in my working career.


My exposure to Small Business would, I belive, be an asset to your organisation and I have had good exposure to Superannuation both as an Employer and an Employee , lately moving to better understanding options available as people move from a working environment to navigating retirement.


I am currently the Secretary of a Strata Council and am involved in the set up and day to day decision making associated with a building containing 124 Apartments.

Accomplishments

I grew my TAB Business in the online environment when there was a significant downturn in Retail exposure .


I maintained my same staff for the 15 years I operated the TAB Business, this was largely due to understanding their needs and working closely with them through any issues that were presented during their employment


I was President of the TAB Agents Association in WA ensuring the needs of our 70 Agency network was well represented to Racing and Wagering WA. I held this role for 7 years an elected post I sought reelection for annually.


I have been involved in National TAB conferences around Australia as President of our Association and understand fully the value of Networking.
