Measure, cut, Join, and grind component parts for require configurations and positions for welding
Welds or forged components according to specification knowledge of welding characteristics of metal
De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture
Conserve resources whenever possible to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction
Coordinate with labor crew for efficient installations
Read and interpret project plans
Maintains responsibility for all tools and equipment in the welding shop
Follow and enforce strict safety regulation such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes
Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
Welding galvanized iron sheet using oxy acetylene welding
Used oxy-acetylene torches to cut, bend or straighten metal objects as required.
Fabricated components and structures following customer requirements.
Cut bent, and formed sheet metal and other materials to create metal works.
Assembled and welded components to create metal structures.
