• Communicate verbally with staff & residents.
• Always good to have a sense of humor working with dementia residents-be cautious and gentle with their emotion but also firm with instruction.
• It is important to develop familiar with daily routine in every shift and help them feel comfortable and feel at home which helps with cooperation.
• Help residents of feeding and making cup of tea when meal and dinner occurs.
• Assist resident in doing cares single and double with my body shift.
• Using applied correct hand hygiene and using correct manual handling like using slides sheets and hoist transfer chair to bed and reposition resident in every 2 hourly.
• Get to know staff better,the way they do cares.
• Talk with staff and residents, Ask how they are doing-what we can do to help.
• Help the dinning during breakfast,Meals and Supper.
• Answer buzzer with body shift and ask resident how we can help?

• Assistance/Training at Animals @Oakey Flat Veterinary Clinic
• Understand and practice workplace policies, procedures, safety requirements & routines
• Observe & assist in surgeries, handling & comforting animals, sanitise & organize surgical equipment
• Clean-Up clinic – vacuum & mop consult rooms and back area, wash, hang, fold laundry, disinfect surfaces, dishes, disinfect consult rooms.
