My role as a childcare/kinder Educator is to create a safe and nurturing environment for up to 22 children per day while collaborating with three other educators where we collaborated to develop cross-curricular projects, enhancing student learning through interdisciplinary connections. Throughout each day I effectively educate children working towards age-appropriate milestones I improved student comprehension by incorporating visual aids and real-life examples into lesson plans. I administer meals and any medications specific to each child's dietary restriction and/or plans including lactose intolerance, allergy medication, and nut intolerance. I always maintain a clean environment by changing nappies, potty training, and regularly sanitizing surfaces. I also clearly communicate and coordinate with parents to understand each child's specific needs and desires.
