Hello, my name is Jenna, and I am seeking full-time employment within the Powercor/Citipower graduate program commencing in 2025. I have experience working in large teams and have excellent time management skills. My current position as an Environmental Support Officer has enabled me to tackle competing priorities, deliver educational packages both face to face and online, demonstrating effective written and verbal communication skills, as well as good technological skills. This position has pushed me to learn new skills such as reading, understanding, and deciphering relevant legislation. My role has required me to relay this information to other people and areas within the business. If offered the opportunity to participate in the graduate position, I believe I will not only be an asset in the environmental space but my willingness to learn new skills will help me in the Health and Safety aspect of this job. This eagerness to learn means that I am not afraid to take on new work and I don’t shy away from resolving conflicts or taking on tasks that are outside my comfort zone. I have a Contact Centre background, which means that I have a sound understanding of our network and how the business operates in this space. Since working with designers over the past 12 months, I have been able to accurately read and understand technical drawings and use publicly available data to undertake detailed environmental desktop assessments. I have been entrusted to work autonomously in the field, using problem solving skills and working with others to reach a desirable outcome for all parties involved, examples of this include, environmental, heritage and technical design aspects of any project.
