With a family history and strong interest for a longer term career in the AFP, welcomes any opportunity to contribute to the AFP's mission. I am seeking an entry level casual role within the AFP's Business Services to develop my skills and aptitude to become a valued employee and contributor to the Australian community. I am particularly attracted to a role within the AFP and its mission to protecting Australians and Australia's interests.
I am a quick learner and possess a strong attention to detail, having consistently maintained distinctions and high-distinctions throughout my law degree thus far. I have a strong work ethic and value commitment, having consistently worked part time with the same employer for the last four years, since the age of 16. I obtain a lot of self-satisfaction from learning new skills, making meaningful contributions, and helping others. With a father who has been a member of the AFP for over 30 years, I have a strong understanding and respect for the AFP's values, culture and mission and admire the contributions he has made and opportunities that have been afforded to him. I have long aspired to follow in his footsteps, with a career in the AFP, and I see this casual position as an amazing opportunity to take the first step towards achieving this.
