I am a second-year BA Education, Society and Culture student at University College London (UCL), with a strong interest in education, social development, and the impact of technology on learning and society. My interest began during A-Level studies, where Media Studies introduced me to the ways digital platforms shape communication and participation, while Sociology encouraged me to critically examine issues of inequality, power, and social change.
Through my degree, I have developed qualitative research skills and gained experience analysing educational policies, learning processes, and social issues from both local and global perspectives. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to promoting equitable access to education and understanding how social and technological change affects different communities.
I am particularly interested in UNESCO’s mission to advance inclusive, quality education and sustainable development worldwide. This opportunity would allow me to contribute to meaningful international projects while further developing my research, communication, and intercultural collaboration skills. It would also provide valuable preparation for my future postgraduate studies and career in education policy, international development, and social change.
