As the Registered Nurse in charge of shift, responsibilities include;

• Delivery of high-quality care to residents and families
• Supervising and managing staff and aged care facility after hours
• Meeting legislative and accreditation requirements

Employ critical thinking and ongoing education to ensure best practice is provided to residents, staff, families and the facility.

Responsible for providing comprehensive, quality care to clients in varied settings. Including; Acute Care, Rehabilitation, Aged Care and Community Nursing.

Delivering patient care; acute medical/surgical, Emergency department, DSU and OT Recovery.

Utilising Critical Care Education to provide holistic nursing care to critically ill clients.

Supervision and support of student nurses to ensure course objectives were met, within the clinical setting.

Completed Post Graduate Certificate in Critical Care, in conjunction with RMIT. Support of critically ill clients, with diverse needs, within a multidisciplinary team.

Relief Position; Remote Area Nursing, delivery of health care within a remote indigenous community.

Completed Graduate Nurse Program, consolidated nurse education .
