I worked in different locations across one of the four parks at Walt Disney World. I worked at Hollywood Studios and I would take photos in front of different icons like Tower of Terror or the Great Chinese Theatre. I would also work with Disney characters and capture the moments of guests interacting with the characters. My job was to capture the magic and memories so when guests look at their photos later they can remember their magical holiday. We also had a photopass viewing station where we would help guest review their photos, purchase photos, or find and link any photos to their account if it's not showing up on the Walt Disney World App. While standing on the streets waiting to take guests photos I would also offer assistance to any guests if they looked lost or needed some advice of what the best way to approach the park.

Worked the water park/ pool area of the resort. Worked the front gate area where you make sure guests have a wrist band to show they are staying with us. Handed out towels and would sell products from pool tools to sun screen or tanning oil. Also check in guests who had a cabana reservation or sell any open ones available. Working cabanas involved setting them up in the morning making sure it's presentable and ready for guests. Throughout the day I would go and check on them making sure they don't need anything else and that the cabana was acceptable to them. End of the day I would clean the cabanas and make sure they are ready to be setup in the morning. Other tasks included just walking around the park picking up rubbish and any dirty towels laying around to keep chairs open that were not being used. Help guests with any questions about the park or the resort in general and assisting in any way possible.

I was contracted with different families to either be their tutor for one or multiple subjects, their nanny, or both. Some families I would work with for the whole school year others just around finals or state testing. I mainly tutored in different levels of math from 1st grade to college level courses. I would also tutor in other subjects if requested but most families needed help in math. When I would do nanny work it involved picking up kids from school and bringing them home and making sure they follow their after school routine. Sometimes had to complete chores around the house like making dinner, doing dishes, or doing laundry.

Assist guests with questions about the attraction or the park in general at front entrance of the ride. Operate the fast pass scanning guests form of media showing they have proof to be in the fast pass line. Help guest link and set up DAS pass (disability service) for them and their entire party to come back and ride later. Operating the flow of the line and managing it so the line doesn't cause any safety issues. Making the line is constantly moving and getting as many people on and off the ride within an hour. Assisting guests on and off the ride as the ride moves along a moving platform and doesn't stop. Operating the control panel and closing ride vehicle doors. If extra on the shift, roam the area making sure the area looked cleaned and organized. Would also help any guests who may have questions about the land, park, or any other part of Disney World property.

Seasonal job, did a second season from August 2021 to November 2021. Worked in a haunted house and open roam street location. In the haunted house I would hide in different spots in my area of the house waiting for guests to walk by and scare them and talk to them in character leading them through my section. My second season I roamed the streets in character sneaking up guests to scare them or just add to the atmosphere of my zone to make guests really feel like they are there.

I also worked here from March 2023 to October 2023. I was mainly a float teacher aide so I helped with all different age groups. Certain points through my time here I was assigned to a certain room for a while until I was moved again. I became the main afternoon girl for one of the baby rooms for a year. I was also a main teacher for a classroom over the summer session. During the morning I worked with kids teaching them their shapes, colours, numbers, and animals. Followed by bible time, music or gym, and art. We would also have morning snack, recess, and lunch. After lunch we get the kids ready for nap and depending on their age is how long nap time would last for. After nap we wake them up and have afternoon snack. Next would be afternoon recess and then the kids would just have free play in the classroom until their parents come and pick them up. Depending on the age the tasks would change but overall just watching the kids and playing with them making sure they are safe and learning while having fun. Younger ages would involve changing nappies, bottle feeding, and extra nap time.

This is a seasonal pop up Halloween retail store. I also worked the following years: 2018, 2022, and 2023 seasons. Different positions included: cashier, floor/ back stock, and dressing room. I only worked dressing rooms in 2017 and 2018 due to them not being brought back after Covid. Cashier involved making sure guests found everything to make their Halloween successful, checking out guests, handling money, looking up in our system to see if we have things in stock, and complete online orders. Floor/ back stock involved just walking the store floor making sure everything looks presentable and organized. Ask guests if they need help finding anything or just needing ideas for a costume. Making sure the floor stock looked full and grabbing merchandise from the back to bring out to the floor. Organizing the back area into sections that match the floor making it easier to look for items in the back easier and faster. Dressing rooms would be where I assist guests with taking costumes out of the package and giving it to the guests leading them to an open room to try it on. Once done I would clean the dressing rooms and nicely put the costume back in it's packaging.
