Awarded for strengthening community ties between Mount Erin College and the local community.

2014 Lord Mayor’s Grant Recipient

Mount Erin College and the Epilepsy Foundation received a grant for $5000 to implement a joint venture that extended my First Aid Community Engagement Program. This money was used to train my Year 10 First Aid students about Epilepsy, who in turn did peer teaching in the Primary Schools in our local community.

2013 The Order of Australia Association School Project Annual Award

This program contributed to the development of young people and our community by offering students the opportunity to learn and to contribute with first aid organisations within and outside the school community.
