Jenny Gilpin

• I founded City Hearts from scratch in 2004 and grew it to be a charity with 170 full and part time staff.
• The charity was sub contracted to the UK government under The Salvation army, and operated 14 homes in which we cared for men, women and children who had been trafficked . These were rescued under the Uk government national referral mechanism.
• The charity was instrumental in writing the UK government victim care strategy, and introduced the importance of faith to the recovery of survivors.
• This law was altered and adopted by the NSW government.
• Developed after care contracts and also links with large organisations such as The Body Shop and John Lewis stores to give employment to survivors.
• Developed a larger than UK strategy and expanded work into Accra Ghana, The Netherlands and Scotland.
• The organisation was asked into numerous London embassies to alert staff to trafficking and to victim care.
• Invited to 10 Downing Street to meet the Prime Minister on two occasions, highlighting anti trafficking and its prevalence.

City Hearts worked with the Uk Government and handled multi million pound budgets.

We started Hope City Church in 1991 and grew the church to over 3500 people across 13 locations. These were in the Uk, Germany, Malaysia and Ghana.

I oversaw the women and ran a large women’s conference across the 4 continents. This conference bankrolled much of the initial work of the development of the City Hearts charity, that was in the field of modern day slavery.

I have spoken in over 50 churches in the last year alone across multiple denominations. These were in the Uk, Australia, New Zealand and The United States.

I have been mentoring Not for Profits charities in their development, and also a number of Christian Philanthropist funding platforms.
