• after many years of a tutor sonographer role I chose to step back to allow a new person to do this role with my support and still teach students.
• my main role currently for the last 2 years has been in specialist breast Us work and training but I also work in general and paediatric ultrasound. This allows me to continue the skills I learnt at Monash Health in obstetrics and paediatrics, and continue my general, vascular and MSK.

• 1 day per week
• provide US service in a BreastScreen assessment clinic for clients recalled after initial imaging.

• 3 times voted by ASAR registered sonographers to be Director on the Board
• this role will end constitutionally in May 2025.
• support and provide accreditation of ultrasound courses in Australia
• roles included Treasurer, CPD chair and project roles

Unit coordinator SON5020 Master of Medical Ultrasound – Professional Skills, Thyroid and Breast

• 4 days per week
• select and provide supervision and training of student sonographers
• provide education for CPD and upskilling for qualified sonographers
• support other supervising sonographers in their day to day role as a student sonographer trainer

• after 30 years of working with MIA/I-Med Radiology I took long service leave to work and travel in the UK and on return decided I wanted a public hospital experience
• managing the training of new sonographer trainees with via myself and others
• providing education for qualified sonographers for CPD and upskilling
• arrange and run educational events at Monash Health for sonographers from all of Melbourne
