  • Sonography- the doing of it, the teaching of it and trying to advance it professionally has been and is still so important to me
  • Quality in scanning and teaching is important to the patients, practice and the profession's reputation.
  • My roles as teacher, University lecturer, ASA president, ASAR board member, Tutor sonographer and now senior sonographer have allowed me to support this profession but also provide the businesses I have worked for a stream of new staff and quality scanning.

Senior Sonographer

  • 3 days per week
  • after many years of a tutor sonographer role I chose to step back to allow a new person to do this role with my support and still teach students.
  • my main role currently for the last 2 years has been in specialist breast Us work and training but I also work in general and paediatric ultrasound. This allows me to continue the skills I learnt at Monash Health in obstetrics and paediatrics, and continue my general, vascular and MSK.
