Jeremy Leibler

A deeply committed Jewish community leader and leading Australian lawyer with extensive experience across various communal, educational, and philanthropic organizations in Australia and Israel. As President of the Zionist Federation of Australia, the elected representative roof body of the Australian Jewish community and a board member of multiple Jewish institutions, Jeremy has demonstrated passion for strengthening Jewish identity, supporting the State of Israel, and fostering educational opportunities.

Since 7 October, Jeremy has been the face of the Australian Jewish community in calling out antisemitism in Australia and advocating for Israel's right to defend itself against Hamas to the Australian Government. He has been prolific in the media and leveraged his deep relationships with the highest level of Government to advocate for the Jewish community and the State of Israel.

A profile piece on the front page of The Australian under the title "the strain of being the face of a traumatized people" which detailed the toll taken since 7 October in representing the Jewish community in Australia.
