I am keen to contribute to the team success through hard work, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Over 3 years of underground mining experience, learning all aspects of development mining through a traineeship with CMOC Northparkes Mines.

Since completing Certificate III in Underground Metalliferous Mining, due to development downsize at Northparkes, for the past 1 ½ years I have worked as a production mining technician, expanding my mining knowledge and skills in all areas. Disassembles, overhauls and rebuilds equipment with minimal supervision. Working knowledge of machine mechanics and troubleshooting and continuously learns new technologies.

I have also completed a traineeship in civil construction through Forbes Shire Council. I am reliable and committed to attendance. I have a positive attitude to life and am motivated to learn, grow, and excel.

  • Obtained Certificate III in Underground Metalliferous Mining; I commenced my traineeship with CMOC Northparkes in Development, undertaking tasks including offsiding the jumbo, haul truck operations in both Atlas Copco and Sandvik, I progressed onto Service Crew where I learnt to operate the Integrated Tool Carrier, Hanging services (water and air poly pipe), vent bag work, jumbo cables, Charge-Up assisting the shot-firer, re-entry, magazine audits, charging and logging detonators
  • On completion of traineeship, due to downsize of development crews, I moved to the Production Crew where I have worked for the past 1 ½ years tasks include production loader operations, Sandvik AutoMine tele-remote operations, automation re-set, belt running, secondary break charge up, housekeeping of conveyors and crushers and roadway install.
  • Safety is at the forefront of all tasks, promptly document and report all defective equipment and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
