This Synergy project in Collie started as a laydown of mud being cleared by Civils work. Scee worked close to the heavy plant while we installed concrete culverts prepping them for cables. Great team work to have no incidences in an area with multiple Simops.

Assisted with all aspects of cable pulls, ranging from cleat and cable tying to reading the single line drawings to calculate measurements. Worked as a team; with wonderful leading hands to complete pulls through multiple pits with 90 degree bends. Gained knowledge on problem solving and staying positive.

Helped install ladder tray, utilising power tools and physical strength.

Helped install PVC conduit reading engineering drawings to spec.

Assisted Installing signage for 642 batteries, 20 RMU’s and 160 PCS by reading Single line drawings and following instructions from previous Battery plants.

Employed as Trade Assistant I operated the 16T fork. We received deliveries from suppliers on a large scale daily. The materials supplied were for construction of a Lithium Processing plant in Bunbury, we were solely responsible for receiving, storing safely and handing over to contractors in a timely manner.

A majority of our steel to load and unload were up to 16t and 15mts long, we prided ourselves as a team on our duty of care to safe transport or heavy goods.

I assisted in writing JHAs, following policies and procedures and maintaining a perfect KPI in administration duties.

I gained knowledge on responsibility of operating, spotting and assisting riggers with critical lifts. I hope to gain opportunities in this field again.

I worked on the same Lithium Processing plant in Bunbury, gaining experience in the 16T fork and materials handling. We had four acres of laydown area with material control for handovers.

I was employed as a Trade Assistant/ Storeman.

I became involved in the daily revival of goods and personally communicating with Procurement.

As a team I was involved in logistically supplying to five crews on site. Via radio, email and personal requests we organised daily deliveries while maintaining a focus on stock control.

I have a love of electrical material and found myself adaptable to the industry and demands.

Assisted in daily activities of the bar including being responsible opening and closing the business.
